  I wish I had thought to have professional photos taken after my graduation. I have a few professional shots of me on stage accepting my degree as I shook hands with The Dean, but that's it. How I wished I'd taken some photos with my kids and my mum. A quick jacket change and we were able to grab a LinkedIn profile photo for this new graduate. Graduation Photo's - Don't Miss This Important Day of Your Life

Graduation day can be a bit of a whir.  The ceremonies, the parade, walking onstage to accept your degree, the speeches and the after parties.  You'll be elated and proud and generally on a high of happiness. It is a wonderful achievement just to make it through. During all of the buzz, p eople will be snapping phone pics. They are great memories but take it from me, in a few years you'll wish you had put a little more effort into your photos.   I graduated in the USA and could bring as many family and friends as I wanted to the ceremony but here in Australia quite often you are only allowed two. Like my client. He really wanted a professional photo with his grandmother to remember forever. What a lovely idea. Nana was in a wheelchair but managed to stand for a few quick shots and a huge hug from her grandson. It was very emotional for me because sadly, my Nana died shortly before my graduation.
